Millet/Thinai

INGREDIENTS

1 Cups Millet Rice

½ cups Green Gram

1 Teaspoon Cumin, Pepper

As required Curry Leaves

2 Teaspoon Ghee

10 Cashew Nuts

As required Oil

As required Mustard

As required Salt

METHOD

Add Millet (Thinai) Rice, Green Gram and add Salt to taste in a bowl with 7 cups of water and boil it for 10 to 15 minutes.

Place a pan and add 2 teaspoons of ghee, 1 teaspoon of oil, Cumin, Pepper, Cashew Nuts, Curry Leaves until it gets golden color.

Now add this to the already prepared millet rice and mix it. The pongal is ready for serve.
